In the beginning, God created

The heavens and the earth;

Then He made, in just six days,

The rest of the universe!

All He had to do was say, "Let there be"--

And there it was in abundant quantity!

Then Adam and Eve He made, and them He blessed;

Then God decided to rest--yes,

God decided to rest.

 

Which came first--the egg or the chicken?

That one's easy to solve!

No matter what some want us to believe,

Things didn't just evolve!

The Bible doesn't say that God created eggs;

He created critters with wings and legs!

The answer is plainly in God's Word:

God created the bird--you heard!

God created the bird!

Some folks say that man's getting smarter,

But that's not how it seems.

We spend more time and work much harder,

Chasing illusive dreams.

The Bible says that God created all things good,

But things are getting worse in the neighborhood!

The answer, my friend, on this we can rest:

God created the best--oh, yes!

God created the best!
